(Loveless) Ritsuka X Reader - Library

    You normally do not go to the public library during the school year. Today however you just cannot find the book you have been looking for in your school library. So you decide to take the long walk you the public library after school.  The bell for the end of school rings and you grab your bag heading out of the classroom. You head towards the school gate and you see Ritsuka talking to a man without his ears. This man has long light brown hair and a scarf wrapped around his neck. You find that it odd that the man is wearing a scarf for it's the middle of spring. The man leaves Ritsuka alone and walks down the street.

    You watch the man leave and then you walk over to where Ritsuka is standing with his -ears lowered slightly on his head. "Ritsuka, are you ok?" you ask concerned. "Hi ______, I'm fine" Ritsuka says walking away. You pout as your (black, grey, white or red) (favorite domestic animal) ears lay flat on your head sadly. You walk to the library with your head hung down low listening to your Ipod sadly. You feel depressed that the boy you have a crush on just ignored your concerned question.

    Your ears perk up as you walk to the library for you see Ritsuka walking towards the library also. You walk up to Ritsuka and gently tap his shoulder. He turns around and faces you, "_______, what do you want?" he asks. "Hi Ritsuka, I just wanted to know if you are headed to the library?" you ask with a friendly smile. "Yes" Ritsuka replies starting to continue on his way. "Ritsuka, I know that your brother was killed and that you cannot trust anyone. Can you please try to trust me enough to go to the library with you?" you ask pleading. "Ummm…sure" Ritsuka replies looking at you a little flushed. You smile at Ritsuka and stuff your Ipod into your pocket.

   You and Ritsuka walk to the library in silence. Then the two of you enter the library, Ritsuka goes to the book stacks, while you go to a computer to see where the book you want to read. You go onto the computer and look up the title of the book you are looking for. You go over to the (favorite genre) and find that Ritsuka is seated on the floor reading a book. You smile and hold back a giggle. You look for your book and you find it after a few minutes.

    You take the book you just found and walk over to where Ritsuka is seated. "Can I join you?" you ask looking down at Ritsuka as he reads his book. "Yes, I guess" Ritsuka replies with his eyes glued to his book. You sit down next to him and start to read your book. Your tail curls up by Ritsuka's tail as you read happily. Ritsuka stops reading and checks his watch stretching. "Darn it, I have to go home now and get there before curfew" Ritsuka mumbles to himself. He stands up holding the book and rushes over to get the book checked out.

   You watch him confused and startled closing your book.  "I should head home now too, I have a long walk" you think to yourself. You get up collecting your belongings and check out the book. You walk out of the library to find Ritsuka standing at the bottom of the library steps. You go down the steps and join Ritsuka. "Ritsuka, I thought you left" you say confused. "I have to go now, but first I wanted to say. I had a good time with you today. Thank you ______" Ritsuka says with a smile. "You're welcome, it was fun" you rely giving Ritsuka a hug. He blushes a light pink on his cheeks and kisses your forehead. You let go of Ritsuka blushing and he leaves. He runs down the street towards his home, while you watch startled. After Ritsuka vanishes from sight you make your way home on your long walk. You are in high spirits as you walk home listening to your Ipod.  

  You get home you find a piece of paper slipped into your library book. The slip of paper had this written on it: 'Thank you for today. I'm sorry about my actions earlier. I would love to do this again. ______, I like you. From Ritsuka.' You blush reading the note and giggle to yourself. You put the piece of paper in your keep sake box to keep it safe. You do your homework all the while excited about tomorrow.
